Tracking is the main way you will find items, objects, and other entities in the game world. It allows you to lock onto an item and hear a beeping sound at its location, as well as press the w key to get information on where the item in question is related to you.
The tracking system is rather in-depth, but it is recommended that you read through this entire category so that you can utilize the full power of the system.
