The message history list, accessed by pressing alt+h from the game keyboard area or by shift tabbing from the message field, contains all of the messages that have been sent in the currently selected conversation.
You can scroll between messages with the up and down arrow keys. Once you're focused on one, control+c will copy the contents of that message to the clipboard (this does not include the sender's name or message date), it's recommended to use f12 (copy last spoken text to clipboard) or the export conversation feature for this instead if you need to preserve this information.
Only if you are focused on the last (most recent) message sent in the active conversation, this list will automatically scroll down when new messages are added.
